Our Story
With more than 15 years of experience in the criminal justice system, Jenny Franco brings a unique combination of investigative knowledge, pre and post sentencing expertise, and firsthand understanding of the people and processes behind criminal cases. With great proficiency, she handled cases as a criminal defense paralegal, probation officer, and presentence investigator. She has worked on complex and high-stakes matters involving felony offenses, murder/homicide, sex crimes, sex offenders, and federal cases; giving her a broad understanding of criminal investigations and Arizona Court systems.
Accomplishments
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a Certificate in Advanced Crime Analysis
- Completion of three academies — Adult Corrections, Juvenile Corrections, and Adult Probation
- Criminal History Disposition Instructor for the Adult Probation Officer Academy for over a decade
- APD Liaison for the JWI and CHD programs that Arizona law enforcement agencies use for criminal records — significant contributor and consultant with the JWI programmers and AZDPS
- Shaped final case resolutions with compelling legal documents — Motions, Modifications, Deviation Requests, Sentencing Memos, and Presentence Reports
- Trainer for incoming Presentence Investigators
- Clearance of critical backlogs of inactive cases across multiple assignments and rolls
- Curriculum development and implementation of training and efficient practices that have benefitted multiple agencies and businesses
- Top percentile of surveillance investigators at a nation-wide agency
- Guest speaker at college / university classes on the topic of sex offenses and sex offenders
- Instructor of 15 week Thinking for a Change course, and Budget class for Probationers
- Volunteer chaperone for middle school and high school field trips — educator on the Superior Court and Courtroom proceedings
